my favorite camera lens + the new how to work it workshop!

A week or so ago, I asked my Facebook friends what camera or photography-related questions they had- any question at all! It was so much fun to get a conversation started on the topic I geek out on. :)

I've been teaching in-person camera classes for a while now, but the more kids we add, the less time I have to make the workshops happen! I've also seen an increase in the amount of people that want to take the course that aren't able to make it to Lubbock. SOOOO......it's going online!

We are still working out some tweaks, but registration should open in the next few weeks!

How To Work It Workshop • February 15, 2014!

I've decided to host another How To Work It Workshop in just a few weeks! This one-day workshop for beginners is perfect for the person who wants to know how to really work their DSLR camera. We work on shooting in manual mode and learning how to make the most of your equipment. 

Our first workshop was a blast and it was amazing to watch all the lightbulbs turn on for the attendees! 

This workshop will be held at my home in Lubbock, TX

This is a BEGINNER, one-day class that will cover:

• Equipment basics

• Exposure (Aperture, Shutter Speed, White Balance, & ISO) 

• Lighting

• Photographic Style

....and a little bit of everything in-between! 

You will need: 

• A DSLR Camera (one that is able to change lenses) 

• Your camera's manual

• A laptop is optional

There will also be some sweet gifts, discounts and coupons for attendees! 

This workshop is from 10 am to 5 pm with a one-hour break in between for lunch. The class is limited to 8 attendees, and it is first-come, first-served!
